It these challenging times, with the advent of COVID-19 worldwide, we would like to assure you that RITM Australia ‘s number one priority is the health of our clients.
As you are well aware, the COVID 19 spreads extremely fast and the personal hygiene and social distance must be a top priority to all of us.
It is still unclear how long the virus stays active on different surfaces. The cases of all SCENAR devices are made of plastic and stainless-steel. To avoid possible cross contamination between SCENAR users, please follow the steps below:
- Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water BEFORE and AFTER treatment. SCENAR Practitioners may consider using disposable gloves.
- Clean the device thoroughly with at least 70% Isopropyl Alcohol wipes BEFORE and AFTER treatment, especially the built-in stainless-steel electrode.
- Clean any stainless steel, silver or shungitte electrodes thoroughly with at least 70% Isopropyl Alcohol wipes BEFORE and AFTER treatment.
- Do not share SCENAR accessories that cannot be disinfected such as sticky pads
- Garment electrodes (Gloves, Socks, Knee, Elbow and Wrist sleeves) must be toughly washed with soap and dried for every use.
RITM Australia will continue to operate as usual. We have a reasonable amount of stock and orders can be placed via our online shop (https://www.scenar.com.au/store/), telephone (02 8011 42 17, 0416 974) or email. Devices service and repair will be done as quick as possible.
We have scheduled Training courses for Professionals and Home Users – please find below a link to the training schedule.
In the situation of self-isolation or lock-down, RITM SCENAR Training will be organized online with Zoom platform.
Although SCENAR hasn’t been proven to treat viruses, it can be used to relief painful flu symptoms like sore throat, sinus pain, headache, chest pain caused by coughing, etc.
Below are several treatment recommendations for these conditions that are suitable for Professional and Home users. If your symptoms persist, please seek medical attention.
Neck Ring
The Neck Ring is a useful therapy method for pain associated with:
- Sore throats,
- Sinus complaints,
- Headaches,
- Pain in the neck and head area
During the therapy the device is moved in a ‘ring’ around the neck without lifting the device from the skin.
- Turn the device on. You will be in basic (90 Hz) frequency. Use other frequencies depending on the pain (acute or chronic).
- Increase the energy to a comfortable level whilst on the skin outside the area of therapy – begin by placing the device on the lower neck area on the client’s back and slowly increase the energy level until the client feels a comfortable ‘tingling’ sensation. Check the energy level on the front of the client’s neck (as this area is more sensitive) – you may need to adjust the energy level to suit.
- Place the device electrode vertically on the nape of the neck (superior to C7) for 30 seconds then begin to drag the device firmly and slowly in a clockwise direction without stopping around the neck until you again reach the nape of the neck and rest it there for 30 seconds.
- After 30 seconds, begin to drag the device firmly and slowly in an anti-clockwise direction without stopping around the neck until you again reach the nape of the neck and rest it there for 30 seconds.

- Repeat step three and four a minimum of three times.
3 Pathways and 6 Points
Therapy to the three pathways and six points on the face affects all organs and body systems. This therapy zone is good for body maintenance. Use this therapy for general pain and in combination (following) point of pain therapy. If you do not have a partner who can perform this protocol on you do the protocol on the front.
1. Choose setting based on stage of pain (high Frequency for Acute and low Frequency for Chronic).
2. Place the device on the skin – near the shoulder area.
3. Set the energy level to a comfortable ‘tingling’ sensation by pressing the pressing + or – buttons.
4. Slide the device electrode slowly and firmly down the pathways, as outlined in the image in the order numbered 1 – 6 . If you find an area of resistance, move the device against this area of resistance until it changes to an area of no resistance.

5. Move to the face to apply the device the six points of the trigeminal nerve outlets on the face. This requires you reset the energy level (as the skin on the face is sensitive).
Apply the device to each nerve exit point in the image for 30 seconds.

Lambs/Clouds
The Lambs/Clouds protocol is used for the therapy of pain associated with the upper back and chest. This method can also be used as a reciprocal therapy zone for pain associated with headache. Lambs/Clouds is recommended for pain related to upper respiratory tract infections.
In this method a circular, spiraling movement is made with the device on the back from the sides of the body toward the spine, starting at the lower ribs and moving upwards towards the neck.
The therapy is carried out until a uniform reddening (hyperaemia) of the skin is achieved.
Therapy Method
- Turn the device on. You will be in (90 Hz) frequency. Use other frequencies depending on the pain (acute or chronic). Client can be lying in prone position (face down).
- Increase the energy level to a comfortable level whilst on the skin outside the area of therapy – begin by placing the device on the shoulder and slowly increase the energy level until the client feels a comfortable ‘tingling’ sensation. Also place the device on the opposite shoulder to bring the client’s awareness to any differences.
- Drag the device with the electrode vertical slowly and firmly from hair line down the central spinal route to the level of the 12th thoracic vertebra a total of three times. See 1 in the illustration.
- Drag the device down the left paravertebral route to the level of the 12th thoracic vertebra a total of three times. See number 2 in the illustration.
- Drag the device down the right paravertebral route to the level of the 12th thoracic vertebra a total of three times. See number 3 in the illustration.
- Beginning at the outer edge of the left 12th rib, make small circular movements towards the spine. See number 4 in the illustration. Continue these circular movements, progressing up the back while moving from lateral to medial.
- Move to the outer edge of the right 12th rib, make small circular movements towards the spine. See number 5 in the illustration. Continue these circular movements, progressing up the back while moving from lateral to medial.
- Find asymmetries and use the four vector technique to create a change.

General Adaptation Protocol
Can be used if symptoms have already started to show.

Stay safe and think positive!
